How Limitup collects, uses, and stores your data.

1. What data we collect
At sign-up: your phone number and password (stored as a hash, never in plain text). Optional: an email address (for alerts), a Telegram account (if linked). During use: your watchlist, signal preferences, journal entries, and paper-trading history — all needed to provide the service.
2. How we use it
To authenticate you, to deliver signals and price alerts (web push, email, Telegram), and to improve the product. Your data is never used for advertising.
3. Third-party services
We use the Telegram Bot API to deliver signals and alerts if you link your account, and an SMTP provider to send email notifications. Your data is never sold to any third party or rented for marketing purposes.
4. Security
Your password is stored hashed with bcrypt — we cannot see it either. Sessions are protected with a JWT token. All communication is encrypted over HTTPS.
5. Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. To request full account deletion, reach out via /contact — your data will be removed based on your request.
6. Cookies
We use a single cookie to remember your language preference (no advertising or tracking cookies).
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes update the date on this page.
