Frequently asked questions
- When is the list updated?
- Prices are fetched every 5 minutes and the page is rebuilt every 10 minutes. The US session runs 18:30–01:00 Tashkent time (19:30–02:00 in winter). During the session the numbers are intraday; once it closes the list becomes that day's result and stays until the next session.
- Why are some big jumpers missing?
- Stocks under $2, with little daily trading or under $300M market cap are excluded. In such stocks a handful of trades can move the price 50–100%, which says nothing about the market.
- Is buying the top gainer a good idea?
- A one-day jump is usually news-driven (earnings, a merger, an FDA decision) and can partly reverse the next day. The list is a starting point for research, not a recommendation. Check the reason, the volume and the halal status before entering.
- What does the halal badge mean?
- Each stock is screened by the AAOIFI standard: business activity, debt, liquid assets and interest income share. Click the badge to see the stock's full calculation.
