Highest-yielding halal dividend stocks
Only stocks our screener rates HALAL are included. Filters: market cap of at least $2B, price of at least $5 and average daily volume of at least 200K shares. Dividend yield comes from two sources — the expected annual dividend and the dividend actually paid over the last 12 months — and the LOWER of the two is used; both must be positive, and anything above 25% is dropped as a data error. Sorted by that yield, highest first.

How to use this list
A very high yield often appears because the price has collapsed — the market may be expecting a dividend cut (a value trap). Check the payout ratio: above 100% means the company is paying out more than it earns. The part of a halal stock's dividend that corresponds to its interest income should be purified.
This is not a conclusion — it is a starting point for research. Each stock's page shows its halal ratios and reasons; study the business, its reports and its price chart separately.
Halal status is re-checked daily and can change. Before buying, check the latest screening date on the stock's page. Screening methodology

Frequently asked questions
- Why is the yield the lower of two sources?
- The expected dividend can treat a one-off special payment as annual, while the trailing 12-month figure breaks on some foreign ADRs because of currency mismatches. Taking the lower one means neither error can inflate the ranking.
- Are dividend stocks halal?
- If the stock itself passes screening, receiving its dividend is generally considered permissible, but if the company has a small amount of interest income, that share of the dividend is purified by giving it to charity. This is a general explanation, not a fatwa.
- Which stocks lead the list right now?
- As of 2026-10-15: Hafnia Limited (HAFN), DHT Holdings, Inc. (DHT), VALE S.A. (VALE), Gold Fields Limited (GFI), Kimberly-Clark Corporation (KMB). In total 155 stocks meet the criteria.
- Is this list investment advice?
- No. It is the output of an automatic filter on public data; the criteria are written on the page. No stock is recommended for purchase and this is not a fatwa.
- How often is the list updated?
- The page is rebuilt every 30 minutes. Prices update every 5 minutes, technicals (RSI, 52-week high, 1-year performance) after each trading day closes, and fundamentals (P/E, dividend, ROE) every few days.
- Where does the halal rating come from?
- From our own AAOIFI-style screener: prohibited business activity, interest-bearing debt, cash and interest-income ratios are checked. The methodology page lists the thresholds and sources.
