How to use this list
Low debt means low financial risk, not that a stock is cheap or will grow. Note: the debt ratio in AAOIFI screening is measured against MARKET CAP, while D/E here is measured against BOOK equity — they are different numbers.
This is not a conclusion — it is a starting point for research. Each stock's page shows its halal ratios and reasons; study the business, its reports and its price chart separately.
Halal status is re-checked daily and can change. Before buying, check the latest screening date on the stock's page. Screening methodology
Build your own filter in the screener
The screener filters and sorts by halal status, sector, exchange, market cap, P/E, ROE, debt, revenue growth, RSI, 52-week high and dozens of other metrics — the full list, not just the top 25. Signing up is free.

Frequently asked questions
- How does D/E differ from the halal screen's debt ratio?
- D/E is debt ÷ book equity (accounting). The AAOIFI debt ratio is interest-bearing debt ÷ 36-month average market cap (must be below 30%). This list shows stocks that pass both.
- Is a debt-free company always better?
- Not necessarily: cheap debt can speed up growth. For a halal investor, though, little interest-bearing debt makes it more likely the stock stays within the screen.
- Which stocks lead the list right now?
- As of 2026-10-15: SK hynix Inc. (SKHY), Micron Technology, Inc. (MU), Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD), ASML Holding N.V. - New York Re (ASML), Palo Alto Networks, Inc. (PANW). In total 52 stocks meet the criteria.
- Is this list investment advice?
- No. It is the output of an automatic filter on public data; the criteria are written on the page. No stock is recommended for purchase and this is not a fatwa.
- How often is the list updated?
- The page is rebuilt every 30 minutes. Prices update every 5 minutes, technicals (RSI, 52-week high, 1-year performance) after each trading day closes, and fundamentals (P/E, dividend, ROE) every few days.
- Where does the halal rating come from?
- From our own AAOIFI-style screener: prohibited business activity, interest-bearing debt, cash and interest-income ratios are checked. The methodology page lists the thresholds and sources.
